Approach:
Whilst we can provide the creativity and technology to make your site, this alone is not sufficient to make a successful web presence.
Our detailed planning process and client involvement/commitment is the key to our success in producing both successful and exceptional quality products for you. The process is five fold as shown above (clickable points).
|
Here we start the process by researching and developing a comprehensive understanding of your business goals. We also look at your customer profile and your competition.
Project Initiation Meeting (PIM)
All team members are introduced and the project is officially started. At this meeting we will discuss in detail Interactive Pages
production process and produce features lists for the site and schedule tasks. A project plan is outlined with key deliverables identified and milestone responsibilities agreed.
Project plan/Budget
Following on from the PIM, a project plan and budget are created. The plan details the timeline for which all critical dates and deadlines flow.
Our team works on producing the basic foundation of the site and elements of design.
Architecture
A site map is created to give the information architecture and show the content of the site.
Page Blueprints
Each page of the site is considered and blueprints produced that give content, functionality and navigation basis. From these the technical team will consider what backend functionality is required.
Do you like it?
At this stage, design concepts are translated into visual form. Pencil sketches, style sheets, themes and full colour digital compositions are used to give a look and feel.
Multimedia Storyboards
Digital storyboards are created to illustrate the behaviour, appearance and flow of the flash animation. This is particularly important as it allows for visualization of the animation thereby saving nugatory and time consuming revisions during the actual production phase.
Documentation
A master detailed design document is maintained of the site architecture. It is up-dated with changes to features, copy and graphics that are made as the site evolves during the production process. Additionally the lead programmer creates a technical design document, this details the programming of each feature of the site, as well as all programming deliverable deadlines and milestones.
We do this by working closely with you to fully understand all your requirements and ensure that they are met.
Our team leads the production team to construct the site to the precise specifications agreed in the design phase.
External elements acquired
Before the site is constructed all external elements must be acquired. These include your graphics, copy, video and music i.e. company logos, other images etc.
Art and technical production
From the specification our creative designers and technical team get to work and create the site.
During this phase we put the whole product through a very rigorous quality assurance test programme.
Quality assurance testing
Our quality assurance engineer develops and agrees a test plan that includes meticulous testing with various browsers. Very detailed records of the site's performance are kept throughout this phase and reviewed and acted upon as necessary.
Site Delivery/Installation
Once you have reviewed and agreed the functionality, design and content of the site on Interactive Pages
' staging server our lead programmer sends it out to the live server. Here it is tested before release to the public.
Having delivered and installed the site we offer various service level agreements to meet your needs, as well as comprehensive support documents. The support documents help to ensure the products longevity and simplify its use.
Style
A style guide is provided to help you maintain the site if you wish. It details colours, fonts and layout.
Administration
If we have created an administrative tool for you, Interactive Pages
also provide a guide to facilitate your frequent up-date of the site without our assistance.
Service Level Agreement
If you wish to have Interactive Pages
maintain the site after it has been launched, we can agree different levels/slots to suit your needs.
